Facing our fears!
Translators seldom feel obligated to understand what they're writing about. Faced with a technical term they don't understand, they often create an "equivalent" term, which is equally incomprehensible to the reader. We, on the other hand, are not afraid of asking. If a new technology or concept is beyond our comprehension, we take it up with the client. Only when we fully understand the product we're communicating about can we make the consumer understand it. That's what we do!
How to pass it on
Knowledge is one thing; being able to pass it on is another. Our extensive experience in advertising and journalism allows us to know how people think, and how to convey information to them in a way that they can understand. When we write copy, even if translating it from English, we make sure it's written in a way that appeals to the needs of the Arabic audience our client is trying to reach.
